Scholarships


Scholarships are tricky things. Everyone wants one. Few people get them. Apparently, there are millions out there that go unused on an annual basis. Because scholarships differ from loans in that they are free money, they are coveted beautiful things. They are also brilliant resume boosters and look fantastic on any resume.

A scholarship is a grant given to the student to continue education .Basically scholarships are provided on various norms and purpose of the donor. The aspirants who are blessed with excellent knowledge and who are always on the top rank list but cannot afford to go for higher studies, since they are below poverty level.
Scholarship can take many forms, a necessary condition for good scholarship is asking interesting questions that address important issues and/or challenge existing beliefs. An important factor to keep in mind as you progress through your high school career is the amount of aid provided to younger students. A large number of awards are geared toward high school students.

A second component of scholarship is generating new knowledge. New knowledge changes the way individuals think about a problem or solve a vexing conundrum. New knowledge often emerges not from an individual study but across studies, across researchers, and across methodologies. Good scholarship is the product of healthy academic environments, ones in which curious scholars with open minds and different perspectives are encouraged to vet ideas. Ultimately, this vetting process will produce new knowledge.. In many cases, good scholarship will require academics to raise difficult questions about favored theories themselves.

In India there are still some families who cannot afford education of their children. If students are meritorious, the schools, colleges or other institutes can offer them with scholarships. A little bit of push is all that's required to help someone achieve excellence. 

Scholarship in India is doing it with success. It makes sure no talent goes wasted and every deserving student gets a fair chance to excel. Students who have merit but cannot afford to pursue higher studies are supported under various programs of Scholarship in India. These scholarships are often regulated by certain norms and conditions. There are special Scholarships programs, which are focused on providing scholarships to meritorious students and the students pursuing education in the domain of Engineering, Business etc.
